Palo Santo wood comes from trees that are native to several regions in South America, including Peru, Ecuador, and parts of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. The wood has been used for centuries by indigenous cultures for its aromatic properties and is often burned as incense in spiritual rituals. Palo santo, which translates to "holy wood" in Spanish, is typically harvested from trees that have died naturally and have lain on the forest floor for several years, allowing the wood to develop its distinctive fragrance.
These Palo Santo Pops are forms on Smudge Sticks mixed with herbs and resin for easier burning than regular Palo Santo sticks.
The smell of palo santo is often described as warm, woody, and slightly sweet with hints of citrus and mint. When burned, it releases a soft, calming aroma that has a grounding effect. The scent is rich and earthy, with subtle notes of pine, lemon, and a touch of spice, creating a soothing and purifying atmosphere.
Many people find the fragrance to be both refreshing and comforting, making it popular in meditation, spiritual practices, and energy cleansing rituals.
Each stick measures 3" - 4" long and there are two in each pack.
